“ Akane! Please, can you help me? “
Akane’s mother, Hino Masako, was carrying a lot of shopping bags, full with different kind of seasonings and ingredients. Maybe her father wanted to try a new recipe and asked her to buy a few things.
" I need a glass of water. It's so hot out there. "
She went to the sink, turned on the faucet and filled a glass with fresh water. When Akane went to her room, a scream followed by the sound of shattering glass made her return to the kitchen. Her mother was staring the shards of glass with a scared expression.
