Y'all, this book was so good I had to make a soundtrack
About halfway through Bad Alpha (Kathryn Moon). I hesitated to pick it up because I didn't like the sound of it, but eventually I figured I'd give it a chance because I liked Lola and the Millionaires so much.
Anyway my instincts were right, this is not for me. I hate the dynamics. It's not bad at all, for the right person I'm sure it's great, and Eve's slow settling from ferally running alone to something else is well written and would probably be intriguing if I didn't find every interaction she has off-putting.

Eve: looks like she could kill you, definitely could kill you
Garrett: looks like he could kill you, is a cinnamon roll
Jamie: looks like a cinnamon roll, could probably kill you
Rory: could kill you, smells like a cinnamon roll
