There's been this one scam that's been using Microsoft's identity to get information. The person on the other end claims that your computer sent them a message that means it has a virus and wants you to turn your computer on for them to make the fix (in addition to enabling them to do it).

Years ago I fell for this scam out of India and nearly had a heart attack. I learned everything I could about tech so I never felt the need to use such a service. The thing that makes it creepy is that it has happened with every computer that's been bought at Best Buy.

The phone company won't block the number unless a add on is bought and when asked the price of the add on the person got snotty and said "it's not my job to know that - it's the business department's job."

So...no blocked number :( *shakes fist at Centurylink* curse you.

Blizzard I am really tired of your shit sometimes.

I submitted a support ticket on - 5/25/2013 10:15 PM - literally 5 minutes after my issue arose.

They responded 5/27/2013 at 11:52am and tell me they can't help me because it's outside of the initial 2 hour time window.

I'm fucking sorry I still have a problem because I reported my issue in a timely manner and it took you guys over a day and a half to respond to me. You're not getting off the hook that fucking easy blizzard.

Just spent an hour at the bank trying to fix a small online issue. The guy helping me had to call customer support and me, him, the other teller, and even the manager thought they were incompetent. They wouldn't talk to the teller; just me. So I had to lean over a really high window while they stretched the phone as far as it would go. So stupid. I'm probably gonna have a bruise. At least the three of them were really nice and ran around to help me. They even gave me candy lol. But everything finally got fixed. The manager told them their support is really bad and that we were all unhappy. Hopefully this won't happen again. But at least I know the tellers there will help me.
