February 9, 2026 | Princess Anne, a former Olympian at the 1976 Montreal Olympics and a current IOC member, presents medals for the winners of the Women's Slopestyle final in freestyle skiing and the Women’s Snowboard Big Air, during Day 4 of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics in Livigno, Italy.
Pio Marmaï as Néro in Néro the Assassin
Not gonna lie, while I knew the chances of anyone catching Anne departing the hospital would be slim to none (as I imagine she has some serious bruising, if her incident was anything similar to my own father's fall/concussion - they're the same age too!), nonetheless, I was hoping to catch a glimpse of Tim's overprotectiveness of her or maybe them holding hands or something.
Maybe I just needed to "see" her.
Until then, I'll just find pictures to reflect upon and continue to wish her a very speedy recovery.
While I have read disturbing idiots "thoughts" on her condition, having lived through something very similar with my own Dad, who went for a walk on our farm and was gone longer than expected until I found him myself, I understand the seriousness of what she's going through and why the doctors are being so careful.
My Dad still has slight issues from his multiple falls and concussions, but initially, there was the dizziness and headaches, as well as cloudy memory. The countless MRIs, scans and tests done, not to mention needing darkness and to lay flat or in a quiet spot. It takes time!
Each person goes through things differently, and I can say now, he's fine (he's just as hard-headed and stubborn as before).
So, to the folks on X and their nasty theories, she wouldn't have been discharged if what you think is correct. She's tough and fierce, but by God, she deserves a break to rest and recover and let her husband take care of her.
Okay, sorry, rant done.
Be well, Annie, we miss you!
