Motivating couple's workout
BOUT' TO EAT SOME MOTHERFUCKING CAP'N CRUNCH!
I LOVE CAP'N CRUNCH.
Some badass training at Real Fighter!
Today we found our fighter spirits and entered Real Fighter to train Thai Boxing. For girls like us who aren’t in their absolute top shape it was a tuff and efficient workout that made us sweat and grunt. It was a real all-around workout and our session was mostly focused on boxing and clinching since according to our trainer our kicking techniques were well below par and needed more practice. It started with a warm-up that made us all reconsider our choice of workout. Then followed techniques of punches, kneeing and kicking…on each other (with mitts)! The workout ended with punching, kicking and clinching mayhem and we were so relieved when the bell finally rang..now we know how Rocky felt!
We were really surprised by the workout studio, it was fresh and very spacey and not at all as we imagined it to be. Check out our pics below!
On a scale from 1-5 we rate Thai Boxing as:
Strength 5
Conditioning 5
Entertainment Value 4
Social Value 3
If you want to get fit, this is a bulletproof workout routine! If you are in Lund, check out Real Fighters website here for prices and classes!
I didn't think I had a ten (eleven) miler in me.
My stomach's been hurting all day, but I figured "what the hell, let's do this." 2.9 mile warmup to a local park, then four 1.25 mile laps around the park. My ideal time for that 1.25 was an 8:00 flat, didn't hit it till the last lap. 8:16, 8:08, 8:02, 7:53 respectively. Those pan out to anywhere between 6:40-6:20 mile splits. I'm happy with that. Total mileage: 10.8
