[Brenda complained to her companion. He, on the other hand, didn’t seem to care. He was looking around. Was he looking for someone?]

[Brenda sighed, and then, began to pull out the annoying splinter out. It wasn’t too big, so it shouldn’t take her long.]

“Should I memorize a poem?” She’d probably read them all, and know if he made a mistake.

“Not necessarily memorize a poem. Look… why don’t we start with her characteristics? Is there any particular part of her looks that you like? We could start from there.”

“In love?” Simon repeated curiously, his eyebrows rising beneath his cap. Then all at once, an expression of joy rolled over his face and he lifted his arms in exhalation. “Of course! Many, many things to be in love with! Fall in love with food, with motherland, with great country of Japan!”
