NY Badassilisks Quidditch Team Try-Outs for 2015!

A new Quidditch season is starting and the Badassilisks are looking for some new witches and wizards.

  Are you interested in playing Quidditch for the first time? Did you just leave your college team and want to join a community team?

  Then come to our seasonal try-outs and show the coaches what you are capable of!

Less than 30 hours left to help the NY Badassilisks!

The NY Badassilisks Indiegogo fundraiser has been a FANTASTIC success, with the team raising nearly 3x their original goal. There is still time to support the team and make a donation and get some of the donation items that are available. Including their incredible new jersey’s.

  These funds are used to help cover the large financial costs of transporting and housing the team at the Quidditch World Cup 7 going on this weekend at North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Because you guys: I think it's a really cool sport. It's mental and physical and weird and dynamic and very unique. But also? Sometimes when I'm walking to the subway with a broom in my hand, I can feel nine year old me and eleven year old me and fifteen year old me and eighteen year old me and now me just having like a big congratulatory group hug inside of myself. Because, dude, we're headed off to play quidditch. 

This got a little bit off topic and it's clear I should go to bed but basically tl:dr I love quidditch and I love Harry Potter and I love the Badassilisks.

I’m so exhausted. Things to be done, but cannot convice self to get up off of my beautifully horizontal couch.

In related news Quidditch is pretty effing awesome.

And as if I don’t have enough projects, I may paint my broom. With nerdfightastic designs or snitches or something.
