Today’s Suikoden II character is Badeaux!
Oh, yay. I was wondering when we’d get to him!
I love Badeaux for two reasons.
1. His weapon. He calls it the “Whip of Love.” It reminds me of Sailor Venus’ weapon, which she also calls “the whip of love” in at least one translation (I’m not sure if that’s its official name, though, or if the translation was correct, since it was the Mixx/Tokyopop one). I mean, come on. You know he’s got to be one kinky bastard with a weapon like that. Maybe he’s related to Lucia.
2. If you recruit Feather and Sigfried, you can totally wipe the floor with Luca in one of the fights against him. Just have Badeaux use his Howling Rune to whip them into Berserk status, then have them do their combo attack. Bam! Bring that bastard to his knees. (Okay, some prep may be required, but it’s still fucking awesome.) I’m using this strategy from now on.
