Unfortunately for Barney, he did not know Belle existed before Allan started bringing her around. Different circles, and all that. Well, Barney's social shape is more of a dot than a circle, really. And if he had been lucky enough to have known Belle pre-Allan, he never would have dreamed of asking her out. In his mind, the rejection that would have followed was so inevitable that it literally would not have occurred to him as a possible thing.

This has been in my inbox for who knows how long, but I am pretty sure you are the person who was asking me about "To the Tune of Bullets" (correct me if I am wrong). Also, I am assuming "CH" means characters. Or does it mean chapters?Regarding characters, since Rumbelle is part of Once Upon a Time it belongs to ABC, so keeping Tune of Bullets recognizably Rumbelle-ish will definitely invite an intellectual property lawsuit. To get publishers interested in her novel Bad-faery will have to change the names at least a little. "Belle French" is probably out, but maybe one half of the name could stay. Probably whatever publisher Bad-faery signs with will have its legal department and marketing department give some input on names and other IP issues.I am speculating here though. I know very little about publishing, and I just know a few IP buzzwords from studying estate law. Oop.You will get better answers, I think, if I throw this open to the author herself. Bad-faery, I know you cannot give away too much online, but can you tell us if the new Tune of Bullets novel will have new character names or added chapters?Thanks!
