Wisconsin has launched a new webpage to help BadgerCare members understand a federal Medicaid work requirement set to take effect in 2027. About 190,000 childless adults are enrolled in BadgerCare, but some may qualify for exemptions.
After average premiums more than doubled on HealthCare.gov policies, some lawmakers are proposing another tactic to help more people afford health coverage.
The Senate is expected to take up the House’s budget resolution at some point and make changes to the document, though when exactly they’ll do that is an open-ended question. The budget resolution would then have to go back to the House for final approval.
