And here is my first D&D character, Badjaw the lizardfolk monk. She got her name thanks to her deformed upper jaw, the result of a rival crushing her snout when she was a hatchling. She survived the injury, and proved herself an able-bodied scout and hunter for her tribe. However, she was always more curious and intelligent than most, wanting to know what lay outside her home swamp.
She got her chance to find out when her tribe was wiped out by a lich’s minions, who had invaded the swamp hunting for magical artifacts left behind. Surviving only because she wasn’t in her village, she is now on a quest for vengeance, knowing that if something isn’t done, she won’t have a home to return to. Along the way, she learned from watching and listening to the 'softskin' races she met, meaning that she is a lot more intelligent than most people assume. But she doesn’t always need her brain; it’s hard to reason with seven feet and almost four hundred pounds of angry reptile if her companions are threatened.
She also has a deep-seated fear of the undead and anything associated with them. They are legit the only thing that really freaks her out.
She took longer than Talia to design, mostly because her proportions are based on the Zoras from Breath of the Wild. I’m slowly learning how to better color with markers, though, so I’m pretty happy with this.
Character is my own, do not use.
