Emma Woodhouse can do no wrong
And by that I mean: she’s constantly doing wrong, but I’m here for it
Coppola's Dracula is on Prime (why didn't they advertise this to me before Halloween?). Time for a rewatch to see if it's bad as I remember.
Badly Done | Suneas
Phineas had talked to Pip and he had talked to Mei. He realized, now, where he had gone wrong. All there was left to do was talk to Su (and some other people-- this whole thing had made him realize that he should probably talk to Laurette, too, when she was ready, and maybe even Louie, eventually). So Phineas had picked up a pizza at the end of his shift, and now he was here at the Qin house. But he wasn’t here to hang out with Mei, for once.
He rang the doorbell and shifted uncomfortably. He hoped Su would answer the door. He didn’t really want to have to explain this multiple times.

A hastily done gift for @rayna05
So has anyone made a video comparing all the "badly done, Emma" scenes or do I have to make it myself?
Edit:
So guys, I made one:
I’m sitting here thinking about Mr. Knightley’s reproof to Emma for her wit at Miss Bates’ expense, and it’s such a perfect example of the Golden Rule of Comedy, “punch up, don’t punch down.” I tend to think of that as a modern, progressive sensibility, and yet here is Austen giving a clear demonstration in 1815.
The Scalzi Corollary to the GRoC is, “the default failure mode of ‘clever’ is ‘asshole.’”
Also, when Jonny Lee Miller calls you out, you will KNOW it. o_O
and just what exactly would you expect her to do about it?!?
