Felt like utter shit today. Had a horrible break down yesterday, and then I got a bad mark on an essay worth 10% which we got back today. Just my luck. I felt horrible, and I still do but not to the extent I did in the morning. Thankfully I hung out with my close friend and we had some good laughs. But I'm still very nervous/worried about my mark. I have never gotten a mark like that (57%) on an essay before, although I admit this essay was very, very last minute. It's a horrible feeling. I've heard many times that the shift from high school to university is hard, but I definitely did not expect this mark. And also this is UNIVERSITY, where this mark actually counts and sticks with me throughout my life.
I guess I'll just have to do my best with everything else in this course. But the thing I find hurtful is that this is actually one of the courses I love - History. Sigh.
