perhaps he'd got too complacent. perhaps the realisation that wolf hadn't been coming out had made him drop his guard. neglect to be careful not to let his other side out, as the need hadn't been there. it should have been obvious that it would only be a temporary relief, and yet, a single bite into the bun badou had offered him as "payment" for the whole ice skating incident left it with an uncannily perfect crescent shape.
he really needed to stop that. but the rush of the transformation had already begun, and keigo barely had a moment of consciousness left as he felt his entire being shift.
well. what a bother. transforming in front of others was always an issue when they hadn't been prepared. but hell if that was an issue he was intending to care about. keigo could deal with that shit later. this was his time, and about time at that. wolf cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders almost as if to feel whether his body was still up to par. there was definitely something going on. some form of limiter in place. probably related to what had prevented him to emerge in the first place.
"change of plans," he let badou know, golden eyes locked on the slightly shorter figure of the older male. he tossed the rest of the bun into his mouth. not that he was too familiar with the plans that had actually been made. only a vague inkling of their existence.
"i gotta let out some steam. beat up some punks. preferably someone with actual backbone, but i guess picking on weaklins ain't half bad either. you gonna show me where to go for a good brawl or what?"
