Full disclosure: It has been soooo frustrating to not be able to work, to not feel like a productive member of society. I don’t do well sitting idly by and frankly seeing my co-workers and patients is just one of my all time favorite things. I’ve felt a depression creeping in, begging me to withdraw and shut everyone out. So thank you to everyone who has been so patient with me on this journey of abdominal pain/liver tumor. Thank you to everyone who has kept reaching out and demanding signs of life from me. Also, side note, medical providers make the worst patients and I think I’m probably even more intolerable since we haven’t been able to “fix” anything yet.
