hello, alu!! lovely to meet you, i hope you’re having a great day!! you can call me dante :) and i do!! horror films are my special interest . . . i’ll put some recommendations under a read more!!

my personal favorite sub genre of horror is slashers!! so my own top two favorite horror movies are halloween (1978) and sleepaway camp (1983). halloween is fairly popular and an iconic slasher, so there’s not much to explain abt it, but sleepaway camp is a bit underrated because it was written off as a ripoff of friday the 13th by virtue of being a slasher that takes place in a summer camp.

it’s very much its own movie, however!! the effects are very good and it’s infamous for its twist ending. another classic slasher i’d recommend is scream (1996)!!

 my favorite modern horror movies are the autopsy of jane doe (2016) and the cabin in the woods (2012). warning for animal death in the autopsy of jane doe, and the cabin in the woods is a bit more satirical in nature!!

oh. other modern horror movies i’d recommend are you’re next (2011) and the invitation (2015)!! you’re next is a really fun slasher with a very good take on a final girl, and the invitation is one i’d recommend if you’re more into slow burn horror films!!

if you’d rather look into horror comedies, however, i’d strongly recommend tragedy girls (2017), the babysitter (2017), and tucker and dale vs. evil (2010)!! and if you like artsy, aesthetically unique and pleasing horror films, i’d suggest the neon demon (2016) and the love witch (2016).

i’m sorry there’s literally SO many good horror movies out there, i could suggest a literal million probably. -v-

If so you inspired me so much to keep drawing and pursue my interests and for that I have to thank you. Your art meant a lot to me and was a huge source of inspiration.
