Rose ran up to the Doctor and smiled at him. "Happy Birthday Doctor!" She then threw her arms him and embraced him. "May you have many more to come."

It seemed easy for almost everyone to accept that he was the Doctor. Living here in the parallel universe along side them, helping in any way he can to continue building Pete's World into a good place. So far everything they have done seemed to be working. Everything was coming together and what was once broken was now fixed. Pete got Torchwood up and running and even offered the Doctor a job in the tech department. He gladly accepted it and almost everything seemed to be working out fine. Well, he did say almost. Ever since the TARDIS left, the Doctor couldn't help but feel a slight distance from Rose. He had whispered in her ear what would have been said that day and they kissed. He quite liked the kiss. But the TARDIS had gone off and ever since Rose hasn't said much to him. Hardly even looked at him. Sure he was born in battle, but he was the Doctor. No matter how many hearts, he was the Doctor. But she was having a hard time accepting that and it was forcing him away. The Doctor didn't know what to do to prove to her he was still himself. Seeing Jackie and Pete raise Tony, it made the Doctor want to patch things up with Rose all the more. For them to move on. Now that he only had this one life, the Doctor wanted to make it count. And he wanted to be with the woman he loves. He decided to talk Rose when he got home from work that day but found himself unable to locate her and decided to help Jackie in the kitchen with dinner while he waited. Domestic life. It wasn't half bad.

((I'm not passing this up.)) Rose stepped out of her room in the TARDIS and looked at The Doctor. "You know Doctor, We've visited different planets and had alot of good adventures together." She came up from the side and trapped him against his control panel. "Why not have a little adventure of our own?" She whispered as her hands slowly removed his trenchcoat.

(( I'm glad you don't )) He found himself pressed against the edge of the console and breathed out shakily when he felt her hands slipping around his shoulders and dragging down his coat. Looking into those big brown eyes, he asked: "Ehm Rose...What are you doing?" but at the same time he pushed himself a few inches away from the console, so she could remove the coat easily.
