Tonight my friends and I went to Waffle House! Two girls, a guy, and little ol' me. First of all when we got into Waffle House I'm not sure about the others but I was already feeling pretty tense because our guy was driving and he's a lovable asshole but kept swerving all over the place and pretending to run into things to freak us all out. I was definitely tense. But the guy and I walked in after the girls and nearly bumped into this older man walking out of the building. He was probably about 6.5ft tall with a greying moustache and tattoos up and down his exposed arms.

He stared at me while the guy and I joked around like the pals we are but I shrugged it off and we sat down. Our waitress was amazing, loved chatting with us and was so sweet! The food was great too, but my tensions rose even more when that old man came in and sat down across the aisle from us. And he fucking stared me and one of the girls down. His table was positioned towards the kitchen, chair and all because it was at the end of the bar so when I say he stared, I mean he turned his whole body awkwardly in his seat to have full attention on me and my friends.

Whenever that sweetheart of a waitress would come by to see how we were, he'd spin around and look away or go out for a smoke break.

But when he would sit down he would stare us down and listen in on our conversations.

At one point he stopped but it was one of the creepiest interactions, if I can even call it that, that I've had in a long ass while.

I think our waitress knew what was up though because when I asked her like the dork I am if I could buy one of their mugs she just bent down and said "oh shoot, management says we aren't supposed to sell them anymore for some reason but I'll just give you one!" And she leaves and comes over a few minutes later with a plastic bag with THESE TWO BAD BOYS IN IT. But that wasn't all, when we went up to pay and one of my friends asked for something for a scrapbook the woman pulled out WAFFLE HOUSE PAPER HATS like the Krispy Kreme ones!

So we left, me with my mugs and my friend and I with our cute little hats. Even with creepy old guy, it was a successful damn waffle house trip.
