I’m happy that we are playing and experimenting using limited materials and responding to our immediate environment for our first module at uni @fine_art_derby_uni_year_1 @uni_derby_fine_art One of the most important things that I learnt on the foundation course @strodecollegeart was to keep playing and experimenting and ideas will come and happy accidents happen. These photos are of the work of Ed Burke’s Derby in Bloom exhibition at the Derby Museum and Art Gallery. It was great to be out seeing some art again and what a way to start with his large vibrant oil paintings with roots in the Derbyshire tradition of well dressing. It’s been fantastic to start at the University of Derby this week to start my BA Fine Art journey.
