OMG THIS WAS SO FUN TO THINK ABOUT but also so stressful!! Because I love them all!! But I took my brain to a tier list and had a good thonk and came up with this!!

I feel like ive missed someone but I don't think I have…that may change lmao…

There are a few different iterations I'm missing out like the first Ultimate Spider-Man comic and the new Ultimate universe because I literally know like 0 about them and I think it would be unfair for me to add them to anywhere just because they look cool, and also MJ and Peter in ultimate are very very cute!!! Multishipper rights!! But I'm gonna try my best so explain the rest in order!!

Raimi Spider-Man Movies: S Tier

I love the raimi movies so much, Parksborn aside, they're just so awesome to me but HARRY IN THIS UNIVERSE??? UGHHH I COULD TALK ABOUT IT SO MUCH!!! The way he acts before Norman even dies, lighting up when he meets him at the field trip, being so excited when Peter fights Flash, stealing MJ just to spite him. Then there's everything after, how happy he is to make Peter happy with Octavius then slapping him like a scorned lover at the party and then finally the reveal when he drops the dagger OUHYGHHHH AND THEN THE THIRD MOVIE!!! The amnesia and them going back to how they used to be, that whole scene in the mansion with them playing basket ball and being so happy, how he manipulates MJ to leave him, then in the final moments SACRIFICES HIMSELF TO SAVE HIM OOOOOGHHHH I know it was never intent to be taken that way, it was the 2000s but I can be delusional and they they were the gayest mfs I've ever laid my eyes on. I want to sob for hours about it. I need to write a fic about them, I have one in my fic ideas but haven't actually written something down. I will give you justice I SWEARRR - that's my reasoning for why their s tier. They made me feel like my body was decaying from feeling and I haven't recovered.

Insomniac’s Spider-Man Games: S Tier

Oh my GOD. Again, I could talk about them for hours you do not understand they have my heart, my soul, my EVERYTHING. I'm gonna spoiler talk here so please be advised but the games have been out for a while soooo— The messages from the first game Harry, the way he says I love you at the end of them, then the SECOND GAME HOLY SHITYTTTT I COULD GO ON FOR SO LONG- the iconic first scene where he really lights up upon seeing Peter, somehow getting a bike that was the exact replica of his childhood bike (I'm convinced that's the same one because he never answered Peter properly lmaooo), dedicating almost a whole event for him for the first day he came back, themed around things THEY DID- HIM AND PETER, NO ONE ELSE. Going back to their school, talking about events special to them and then inviting him as co-founder for a business built for not only his mother, but for may too, and put SO MUCH EFFORT INTO IT. I cannot talk about every little thing because I could dissect this forever but the way he holds Peter as he dies and screams??? Then saves him even though he had no clue how?? I know that was Venom but give me this it was significant- The way they talk on the phone as Peter’s trying to find a cure, the heartbreak when Peter starts to change and then the scene where he's got it off and trying to convince Harry to let it go and then THE END!!! A parallel to the way Peter died except he can't save him, all he can do is sob and say I love you. I'm going to cry with you believe me. I would die for them if it meant them getting a happy ending. If Harry actually dies I will lose my MIND I wont be able to handle it. Every time I think about them I want to scream because god the way they're written is heart-wrenching, S tier absolutely. No doubt, you can't change my mind. Mwah mwah mwah I love them.

Ultimate Spider-Man Cartoon: A Tier

I bet this'll surprise some people considering how much I like the cartoon and my first Spider-Man long fic is literally this fandom and includes Parksborn, but I just think the other two do it better!! Of course I know literally none of these media INTEND for the parksborn to happen but in basing my ranking on how hard they made me want to sob myself to sleep and so here we go!! Their friendship is so special to me, the way Peter introduces Harry as this one guy who's always been there for him since the moment they met. Like he spotted this sopping wet puppy on the side of the road, made friends and said “actually, I'm gonna do anything for you.” and Peter feels the same way, he's just torn by his work with SHIELD. Like he gets so upset that he can't tell Harry the truth or spend as much time with him ouuughhhhh Then Harry gets jealous and throws this whole party just to spite him in actually crying, but the way they made up at the end!!! then the Venom stuff and actually lying to his team AND NICK FURY because he wants to protect him??? Getting kicked off a mission and still going to keep him safe?? Ouuughhhh the whole episode with Carnage!! I love that episode because- CARNAGE but the way Harry protects Peter and is desperately talking to SHIELD to find him even though I'm pretty sure he hates them too like?? They care about each other SO MUCH!! I haven't even watched it all the way through yet (I've been busy I'm SORRRYY) so I'm sure there's so much more I can say but ill leave it here!! They don't have as much soul destroying moments as the first two, and there's too little Harry for my liking >:((( I would've liked to see him as Venom more or maybe a lil Hobgoblin or Green Goblin Jr for angst but we got what we got!! A tier!!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Cartoon 2017: A Tier

I wasn't going to put this on the list because I thought it would be unfair because!! I have!! Not watched!! the show!!! Because I have so many things to watch and I'm prioritising the last three first!! But I've seen so many clips I'm very spoiled and whenever I see people talk about Parksborn, its either this or the Raimi movie that people seem to say is the best. I can't give a great opinion on this because I really haven't seen a lot but gosh the clips!! They're so close, SO CLOSE so that the reveal of Peter being Spider-Man is so good!!! Harry is devastated and Peter is too because he just loves this guy so much!! But then they team up and OUGHHH the way they're so happy together!!! They're goofy kids I love them!!! Then Otto switches body with Peter??? I dunno if this is a hot take- I don't think it is- but I read one single issue from the superior spider-man arc and I LOVED IT so I was so hyped to see they did it in this show!!! I saw a clip of Otto kicking Harry off a building and he doesn't know!!! Its not him!!!! Nooooo!!! The angst!!! Ouch!! In summery, all the clips look like AMAZING PARKSBORN and my option will probably greatly change when I watch it but I just didn't want to exclude them!! So even if I haven't seen a lot- A tier! ITS MY TIERLIST I CAN DO WHAT I WANT-

The Amazing Spider-Man Movies: A Tier

Again uh….hey don't kick and throw stones at me but…i haven't watched these movies since I was like itty bitty- BUT IM GETTING TO IT!!! And I do remember a good bit!!! Childhood friends??? Already brilliant story potential??? The scene with him arriving after his father dies and tries to be there for him even though it's been years, Harry pushing him off but giving in last second and them IMMEDIATELY CLICKING AGAIN, EVEN AFTER ALL THAT TIME!!! Because they're so close!!!! Them spending the whole day hanging out and reminiscing and being so happy?? Like Harry absolutely abandoned his meeting just to run around New York with his old best friend and I can't take that. The battle between wanting to save Harry but knowing that giving him his blood could do more harm than good and Harry not understanding that because he's desperate!! He wants to save Harry so bad but what can be do?? Then of course, the clock tower scene. I get that a lot of people hate these movies and that's valid but I love it??? I honestly think Harry was so awesome in this version like the acting was amazing (lol) and the despair he felt at being betrayed. I WISHHHHH there was another movie so bad and I'm sad there isn't because the interacts with a Harry at the head of a sinister six vs Peter after he's grieving pretty much everything would've been devastating. I love them and their interactions and dynamic feels so different to the rest of the parksborns but also so good??? I shrivel up like a raisin from what they could've been if they'd somehow reconciled and Harry had been saved, but its B tier I'm SORRY. I don't think any of these ARE BAD the rankings are on what I truly like more!! Although putting the 2017 cartoon up there feels wrong though considering I haven't seen it LMAO Now that I've rambled…i think they deserve to at least be in A oh no my indecisive mind..

Comicverse Harry and Peter: C Tier

I know they are the foundation for everything that came but I have not read all the Spider-Man comics, I am trying but 1: I have no money and I will pay for a subscription service when I'm DEAD and 2: there are so many???? I do not know where to start and sometimes the storylines switch comic lines so I have to go find where that's gone so- IM STRUGGLING BUT IM TRYING MY BEST!! Comicverse would be so much higher if I'd seen more, i’m sure, but hardly anyone talks about Parksborn in the comic and I really haven't seen much to get a great idea but there are a few scenes that pop to mind: how they're best friends and really show it!! Their time living together is so special and when Harry is sick and ill he literally clings to Peter as “all he has left” (not word for word but I remember something similar) and then they're back and forth misery fighting each other when he finds Peter out like they are SO DEPRESSED. EVERY FIGHT. Like the angers there but there's so many scenes of them just staring each like “god, how did I get here?” Harry has the chance to end it so many times and can't, even when he's still got that grief over Norman, he just can't kill Peter. Like he's got so many factors destroying his mind and LOVE STILL WINS. Until Harry dies, holding Peter’s hand as he cries you cannot convince me he's not sobbing in that scene. Like the fights over, the green goblin is finally dead but at what cost?? I'm aware Harry gets resurrected at some point or something but the later comics give me a headache that ill tackle later LMAOOO the early stuff is whats really important to me!!! C tier because I don't have a lot to go off but I do think about them a lot and their story is such a good foundation for everything else!! Love college PeterHarry!!

Finally….

Spectacular Spider-Man Cartoon: D Tier

Again…and I'm VERY scared to say this one because I know this is like the holy Bible for spider-man cartoons…but I haven't watched it yet. I FULLY INTEND TO HOLD YOUR PITCHFORKS!!!! I just have other stuff I placed first!! But the shows iconic so I felt like I had to add it. But also, I just really can't see any Parksborn in this show! Like they're besties but whenever I see them I just can't see them as partners??? I literally can't see this Peter with any tbh because from what I've seen, they handled Liz and Gwen so horribly but in the Parksborn department, I just don't think these two specific iterations of Peter and Harry go together??? Again, this could absolutely change once I've seen the show and my brain is picking up the specific scene where Harry gets framed by his dad (watching that for the first time while making an edit made me gasp like what do you mean Norman broke his leg to save his own skin?? BROKE. HIS SONS LEG. TO FRAME HIM…HELLO???) and once Peter finds out its like all the angers gone. He agrees to lie, he agrees to forget it all which Spider-Man would HARDLY do for anyone else (just remembered Felicia and her dad…i have no idea what happens there…Peter is cool in this version I guess I HAVE NO CONTEXT IM SORRY) just because its Harry and he's ill and he wants to help him. Like that’s pretty stand out to me, but apart from that I don't have anything else!!! Spectacular clips of Harry were really hard to find for me for some reason so unfortunately I don't know a lot!! I am looking forward to this show so much though, so again, opinions could change!! But for now: D Tier, sorry babies!!! You don't hurt me as well as the rest of them!!

AND THERE WE GOOOOO!! That's my flimsly, probably going to change every few days tier list!! There's my obvious favourites that I point at and sob and use in my drawings or fics but then there's the rest that I really need to indulge in!! Surviving on the odd clip isn't good enough!! I'll watch all the medias one day I promise!!

I'm gonna re-do this list once I've seen the cartoons and the movies (excluding the comics because that'll take SO LONG HOLY-) and I'm excited to do that!! But this was so so fun to do!!

Reminder- just my opinion. This is not based on what I think is “better” or “worse”, this is based on what I like more. If you disagree or don't even like Parksborn in the first place, that's absolutely fine and valid, just please don't get upset with me about it!! I didn't ask for this hyperfixation, they dragged me in and locked me in the basement!! I can't get out!!

Something I hate about being a Godot and Mia fan (not just as a ship but also as individuals) is that when I announce that they’re my favourite characters, people often assume that I only like them because they’re hot. I mean, they ARE hot, but there’s SO much more to them than that! They’re an inspiration, they’re cool af, they emotionally destroyed me! The mark they left on the overarching story was unlike any other! Makes me sad that people forget how plot heavy and important they were 🥲

what if there was like. an undertale/isat crossover AU

I am going to take this as a "Frisk ends up in ISAT/Siffrin ends up in Undertale".

(ISAT spoilers up to Act 6 including the secret).

So, Frisk in ISAT. First of all, Frisk is a child so the party isn't going to let them fight. Not that Frisk really wants to fight anyway, they're happy taking snack duty with Bonnie. If Siffrin is still around I can definitely see Frisk as not knowing what is going on but wanting to comfort Siffrin anyway but in the way they pour water on Undyne at Hotland. Frisk has a candy in their pocket and every loop they give it to Siff on the third floor sort of thing. They do this even if they are also looping Frisk is just like that. Now, if Frisk is the one looping and Siffrin isn't there that would be... fun. Especially if Loop is still as they are in canon. They would be wondering what this Small Child came from and what their deal is. They weren't here before. Frisk doesn't know either they fell down a hole and ended up here. A fun little bonus would be Chara also coming along to narrate. Chara and Loop would be fun.

Now. Siffrin in Undertale. He is not having a good time. Let's just say they're aware of the resets and take them as loops for this. In the first few he remains neutral, they're used to fighting on the road but only fights when he can't get away per Toriel's request (let's say that maybe Siff is too used to his old combat rules... maybe they wouldn't think to spare Toriel at a certain point. At least the first time but then Papyrus spares HIM and that's when they realise. That could even be when reset 1 happens because Siffrin just can't go on knowing this). Then after countless attempts at this is when the genocide route comes into play. Genocide route Siffrin is Siffrin at his worse and the underground knows (so sort of like Act 5). Yes Siffrin struggles at Sans and they probably view the guy as similar to the King by the end as the guy he NEEDS to defeat because why else would it be this hard. Then Chara appears and the world is erased and he's back. At that point Siffrin is too tired and that's when it finally clicks that sparing everything is how the game is played down here. Idk, Siffrin is very stubborn when it comes to things, they're certain that when the adventure ends everything ends for example, they view fighting as a way to survival since they don't really remember anything else. Of course if he is going through this with Frisk it's definitely different because he has to look after a child they don't want them to see all that unless absolutely necessary. Also they keep getting upset whenever he even mentions fighting. Pacifist route probably happens first try in that case.

Oh also there's a lot to say about Siffrin and Flowey/Asriel. For Siffrin to go through all of that only to be met with a kid who basically echoes how he feels about their family (don't leave me I won't let you leave me). Yeah. Especially if this is an universe where ISAT still happens and then Siff goes to the underground. He gets it. Also Siffrin interacting with Chara would be great it would be like of Loop commentated on every single thing Siff did all of the time but instead of a star it's this ghost child that started following them when he fell down here.

Sometimes when I get super pessimistic with the way American government is becoming and global warming I get really proud of my generation, I don’t think much of us (Gen Z) are of voting age yet. But just from what I’ve seen the survivors of parkland and even kids just around my school and online! I feel like Millennials and Gen Z are going to save the world.

vote those bastards out, fight for change, fight for lgbt, climate, gun control, net neutrality. Sometimes it feels like the world is falling apart and that it’s going to be nothing but absolute shit. Which is what the baby boomers and Gen X are going to leave us with.

But we are the future

We are change.

We can make the future what we wish, where we don’t have to hide our identity in front of our family, we don’t have to go to school with the constant fear of not making it home. Without the fear of walking down the street alone at night or waking up and turning on the news to see the government repealing more rights only taking care of the top 1%

It may be a while. It may seem impossible sometimes. But we can do it.

Life News

So about 2 years ago, this little Bagel graduated out of College with a double degree in IT and Graphic Design, and since then has been doing a bunch of freelance work as he worked his casual part time job as a checkout chick. Building up his portfolio of work and projects over the couple o’ years.

Well, come a week ago, I was picked up FULL TIME by a local graphic design firm. This is something I have been aiming for since graduating, and I am super stoked about this. I resigned my checkout position and come Monday I move into this new job and I’m really looking forward to starting!

Of course, this is a full time position, so I no longer have the time to just sit around arting and stuff while I wait to hear back from jobs. The majority of my week will be working in the design department of this new firm.

I’ll still be blogging and doodling, but it won’t be in the huge amounts I have been doing, mainly nights and weekends. I may end up making a schedule or something so I update at least one of my blogs a day. I’ll see how this first week goes and see how things pan out.

I’m still around, and I have no plans on leaving yet, but that’s life, and I worked so damn hard to get this job in particular, I want to put 100% into it.

Godot and Disability (and the fandom’s ableism)

Heya besties, I’m back again with another meta post! Since I’m noticing that this topic is kinda becoming relevant again, I’m gonna talk about it!

Major spoiler warning for aa3

CW: Ableism, death, death penalty

I’ve seen too many people say that Godot should just be dead after aa3 because he only had Mia so he might as well die with her. Not only that, but he has so many health issues that he would be better off dead since it’s not worth living that kind of life.

If you genuinely think like that, do you have any idea how ableist that is?

Like sure, Godot would have those kinds of thoughts about himself, but straight up saying that him being dead is the best kind of “happy” ending for him is a very disgusting mindset to have. It tells me that you don’t think disabled people should even bother living their lives every day because their lifestyle is just too depressing for you; that it’s impossible for disabled people to do well for themselves and be happy — so it’s better for them to die instead. This devaluation of disabled life is at the core of ableism.

For Godot, after the end of aa3 you really don’t think he’s able to get help from Phoenix or Maya or anybody else? This is the point where he’s finally able to let go of the past and move on, because he finally put his trust in Phoenix; someone who is more than willing to help a man in his position. I’m sure Godot, or rather Diego, still hates himself more than anything, but that doesn’t mean he can’t try to get help. He’s finally on good terms with Phoenix, so at this point I’m sure he’s willing to talk to him about his issues; especially considering he sees Mia’s spirit in him. If he’s wanting advice from anyone, it’s Mia’s spiritual successor. Like yeah, Diego is in prison, but he can still get visitors. There’s even an animal therapy program there too.

With Phoenix’s help, he’ll be able to make friends with not only Maya, but Pearl, Gumshoe, Edgeworth etc. That friendship circle can keep expanding and that means he’ll find more reasons to live and be able to get more help. It’s really not that hard to imagine that he’ll get better after the events of aa3, even if he does have a lot of health issues and disabilities. Diego does have medication that allows him to live to a ripe old age, as he’s said so himself. As long as he keeps taking his meds, he’ll be fine. Plus things get more advanced in the future, so I’m sure he’ll end up getting better support too. Perhaps Athena can be his therapist when he eventually finishes his prison sentence. Given his circumstances, he would definitely be given a lighter sentence since it’s clearly manslaughter, not murder. (And don’t even give me that “he got executed” bs.)

And why would it be better for Diego to reunite with Mia in Heaven? If that’s what you want to happen, then you’re not allowing Diego to fully move on. You’re making him regress that way. The whole point of his character arc is that he realised that he was too scared to accept Mia’s death, and the ending showed that he finally accepted it. Why then, would it not be better for him to move on without her? If anything, he would prefer to keep her memory alive but not let his fears get in the way anymore. Diego moving on from Mia’s death is a crucial step for him to grow and heal. It makes a whole lot more sense than “Bro got executed! He’s got too many health problems to live long after all that! There’s no way he’ll last long with that big wound on his face! He’s got nothing else to live for now!”

I’d love to see this beautiful blind comatose survivor do well for himself, so let’s stop being negative about it simply because he’s disabled, okay? There’s so much potential with a character like him, exploring the life of a disabled person and all the struggles we go through. It would have such a positive impact if done right.

PS: I am also so sick of being labelled as the “delulu” one just because I believe he gets to live life after aa3. I’ve gone over the whole death penalty thing before, but how can you possibly believe someone who committed manslaughter will be given the death penalty? Like just because it exists, doesn’t mean every killer gets it. It’s one of the dumbest misconceptions in the entire fandom, and it needs to be dropped ASAP. 😭
