I think the best part about OT3 is how flexible I can be with it. Like my OT3 is Bagfurshield (Bilbo/Bofur/Thorin for those who don't know). I can read a bagginshield fic, a bilbofur (boffins) fic, or Thorin/Bofur fic and I still like them all equally.
