I love the phrases they slip in. In Swedish there's "The dog likes you because you have food." Duolingo truly knows what's up.

Okay so I'm sitting at dinner and the phone rings so I go get it and they ask to talk to my dad, so I hand it to him and he talks to this person for a while. Once he hangs up he tells me and my mom "That was Lensing funeral home, they were calling since we both just turned 50 they wanted to know if we wanted to start planning and picking things out because you never know when things can happen."
