Bahama Bob’s is right on the beach. It’s an excellent location for some food just a small walk from several public beaches. This is the Bahama Bob Burger. It’s a cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and pineapple. I was interested to add some fruit to my burger palette, but I was a little let down. The Swiss tasted very bland compared to the pineapple and I’m not sure if that was the point, but I think some aged cheddar or maybe Muenster would be a better choice to make it more flavorful. The patty was thin, but huge. It was basically an inch and half outside of the bun on all sides. I asked for medium, but it was cooked to well. I don’t think there was enough room inside the patty to allow some pink. I feel if the meat was pattied out to be the same size as the bun, it would make the overall presentation of the plate look amazing. I give this burger a 4/10. It wasn’t horrible, just much more to be desired.
