In the middle of a very hectic weekend back in LA, I was glad to spend a little time with my fellow Amat-89 buddies Sandy, Jess and Greg at Dave’s Wayne’s. It’s a cool shady spot to hang out during the day, and I’ve been told the lines are long to get here at night. Along with the great chat, the four of us may have invented a new drink, which we call the Boardman. Mix half cranberry juice with half ginger beer, add lime and ice. It’s a cool drink to have, especially when you’ve got hours of driving back to CA/AZ border ahead. Maybe this can be the Class of ‘89’s signature drink?
