Trying to get back into ficcing mode, and this video is helping me along nicely. It's been years since I saw the goodbye scene (don't own seasons 3 or 4 on DVD), so I actually squealed when it came on. Awww! If someone would care to either screencap or even gif it for me, I'd give up my first-born in return... Or maybe I'd just drown you in gratitude AND reblog it with lyrics from "You Could Be Happy" by Snow Patrol. Whichever you'd prefer.

So, once upon a time, I kept a Profiler/SBR journal. I regret nothing. But I digress. In it, I also jotted down all the SBR/SABER things my twin sis and my older bro would say whilst we watched episodes together. To wit:
Sis: "At least Sam and Chloe rode off into the sunset, and Bailey will follow."
Bro, after I'd explained what the Believers were all about: "Nah, it's Sam and Bailey."
Sis, on the fire station house scene in Ring of Fire: "Oh, this is so lovely. / Bailey is wonderful! / I luv him!"
Bro, on Sam's lovely smile at Bailey at the end of Shoot to Kill: "There is only one way to interpret that smile."
And they didn't even ship Sam/Bailey with the same fervour that I did. Gotta love it.
My Profiler OTP Shipping aside, though, I love what good friends they are.
