This is an image of Jean Shrimpton by David Bailey taken in 1962. This is a lovely image as the composition is simple yet complex in terms of the placement of the model, and the body language. The composition is very simple since she is in the centre of the frame but the fact that her arms are spread out around the photograph makes the composition a little more complex.
I really love the contrast in this image, there are definite black and whites within this image and lots of grey tonalities in between.
This image stands out to me because she looks like she would bea role model to many young women, she is very pretty and her hair blowing in the wind enhances this beauty. The way she is dressed also builds an admiration all quality to her because young woman like her may want to dress like her to be like her.
