since your a shizume shipper how did you feel when she ended up with mamaru???? (ಠ⌣ಠ)...(ಥ⌣ಥ)

Ahhh, actually i took it pretty well! (though i'm not going to lie, i was really sad because they're my otp)

Thing is, ever since shishio broke up with suzume in chapter 47, i wished that they'd get back together, or at least to see a glimpse of hope for them but as the chapters went by that... never happened... it was just shishio suffering and suzume getting over it, and even though i still don't ship mazume i can't turn a blind eye to the obvious fact that suzume fell for him fair and square when they were dating. I do think they started dating way too soon for my taste, since suzume hadn't gotten over shishio, but they definitely built a relationship on their own and no one could deny that. 95% of me knew she would end up with mamura and the other 5% was just me praying to the shoujo gods to do their thing... but blah :( 

You know what though? I'm not too sure if i'd have liked a shizume ending in chapter 78 all that much, since they barely interacted for 30 chapters and now... to suddenly get back together? uhm, I don't know you, but that would've left a really bitter feeling in me. For shizume to rise and shine again we needed at least 3 more chapters, at least. And I know a fair amount of mazume shippers who, even though they got their happy ending, were pretty displeased by the ending since it felt rushed for everyone, even for mamura.

So yup, i was okay with a mazume ending, but what got me angry and greatly disappointed in the manga is the unfair ending shishio got. Seriously? two beers? Two Beers? I'd have accepted it if shishio had been a terrible guy who treated suzume badly and only used her, but no, shishio was thinking of suzume's well-being when he broke up with her, he regretted his decision and his cowardly way to face the problem for so long and all he gets is a broken heart and a hospital bill? alright.

I hope the special chapter makes up a little for this excuse of an ending shishio got though, and i'm sorry for such a long reply but i just wanted to make that point clear, i didn't hate that mazume was endgame, i hated the fact  that shishio was used as a punching bag throughout almost half the manga and then was left brokenhearted in the very last chapter.

Working on the school newspaper is such a pain. Getting home really late at night, organizing topics, homework, etc. But the real pain is when the writer doesn’t care about the school. She wondered why did he even joined to help out the school newspaper.

“Soul, why did you joined? You don’t give a crap about the school and your notes are not detailed. It’s a pain for me, the editor, to make things up.” Maka complained to her writer, Soul.

“Nobody even reads the school paper. Besides, the school is a dump,” he stopped talking so he can yawn, “and my mom is making me join some stupid clubs so it can look good for my college applications.”

“Out of all the clubs in the school you chose to help with the school paper?” She asked

“There is no way I’m joining the drama club, band is lame, and sports are not my thing, so the last option is being in the school newspapers,” he answered “I also get to know how much a bigger dump this place is.” He smirked and Maka just rolled eyes and went back to work.

Rumors has it that the reason why Soul really joined to help out the school newspaper is because he likes Maka. This makes her feel uncomfortable because they are usually together and he does tease her a lot, which annoys her. He always ask her what questions he should ask the students, leave the school the same time, buys food, and gives her a ride home. Looking over her shoulder, she found him sleeping with his ear buds on. How cute. Even though he doesn’t have to stay since he did his part, he chose to give her company. This makes Maka so nervous! What if the rumors were true? She have to ask him later.

Night came and Maka finally finished editing her part of the school papers while Soul was playing a game on his phone. They left the school, walked, and entered into his car. “Soul, before you turn your car on, I have a question,” she said nervously, “it’s about a rumor I heard; you joined to help out with the school paper was because of me. I just want to know if the rumor was true.” She finished talking quickly. There was silence between for a while until Soul let out an embarrass laugh.

“Yeah, the rumor is true; I joined so I get to spend time with you. I really like you and all. I hoping that you wouldn’t hear or believe the rumor, but I guess—“ He stopped when he heard Maka giggled. Man, that really hurt his pride. “Sorry, sorry. I found it cute that you did all that just for me. I think you even ruined your school reputation by joining the school newspaper.” Maka explained herself why she was giggling. It did kind of ruined his school reputation, but it would worth it if he gets the girl he likes so much.

“Well, what do you say, wanna go out with me?”  He asked, hoping she would say. How can she say no? He did so much for her, even to the point of ruining his reputation as the super popular guy to join something so nerdy. “Yes, I would like to out with you.”  Maka answered back, but looking away, embarrassed.

Soul was shocked that she agreed to date him.  He thought his action would scare her, but it didn’t! He pulled her into a hug and kept thanking her. He didn’t care that he’s being out of character right now. He was so happy. Hearing Maka squeak and laugh just made him hugged her tighter. This girl is going to continue ruining his reputations, but he would care less.

In the end, it was worth it.
