4 months ago, I started this little adventure to thank my followers, and it has been a party from start to finish. Thanks for the excuse to try dozens of new recipes and to become "the cookie lady" at my local post office. I got some truly strange looks when I sent the box to the UK. Please enjoy the recipes and fic that came out of this strange and wonderful journey!

Baking Glee: Kurt + Sam Friendship Cookies

Is there any ship more important than a friendship? No, no there isn't, and what better friendship than one that has endured through years of motel scandals and bromantic entanglements. Kurt and Sam may not be as close as Blam or Hummelberry, but they've been there for each other since day one and they deserve a cookie. 

For Kurt and Sam, I've made the delightfully odd White Chocolate Lemon Pudding Cookies. 

Why these cookies? They combine the decadence of a good Kurt creation with the lemony sunshine of Sammy Evans. Plus pudding.

Baking Tips: Make sure to buy your pudding mix in the right size, because you will use it all. Oh, and try not to eat all of the dough; you will fail.

Baking Glee: St. Berry Cookies

I thought that the Anderberry cookies would be the peak of my baked theatricality, but NO. There was still one greater peak to achieve, and that could only include Jessie St. James. Together, Jessie and Rachel are the most flamboyant, the most colorful, and the most compelling performance partners on any stage, so it's only fitting their their cookie be similarly magnetic. 

For St. Berry, I've made Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip Cookies. Mmmmmm, I could eat these forever.

Why these cookies? Just look at them! They're rich, decadent, sweet, and they stand out from across the room. Plus, they feature several eggs.

Baking Tips: Make them, eat them, and use them to kick ass at your next bake sale. These cookies win.

Baking Glee: Kurtana Cookies

On the surface, these two don't make very much sense. They're both prickly and kinda difficult, but together . . . oooooohhhhh they're delicious, snarky glory. 

To capture their special friendship, I've chosen to make Mexican Hot-Chocolate Cookies with white chocolate, milk chocolate, and butterscotch chips. It's completely excessive, and that seems about right.

Why these cookies? Well, the Mexican hot-chocolate is a nod to Santana's Mexican third eye. Plus, the rich chocolate hides all of the chippy goodness inside. You really have to get to know these cookies to find out that they're addictive.

Baking Tips: The recipe calls for a specific sheet arrangement in the oven and I'd encourage you to ignore those directions. That's how I landed myself with two trays of burnt cookies and when they're this good, that's just heartbreaking.

Baking Glee: Elliott Gilbert Cookies

For a man who's only been around for one season, our Elliott (aka Starchild) has made quite an impression. There's a lot of complexity packed into New York's designated straight man and I wanted to make sure that his cookie did him justice. 

I decided to go with something chewy and chai-spiced in an attempt to capture his sparkling presence.

Why this cookie? We know that Elliott is a calming presence amidst a crowd of excitable former New Directions. He also has a thing for curries, and these cookies come with their own six-spice kick. Finally, they've got just a hint of sparkle under the light and are guaranteed to steal the show. [I tried to add little frosting top hats, but the baking odds were not in my favor.]
