The Baking Sun (Tarot Spread)
A spread ideal for questions about stagnation and when you need to learn how to grow.
In honor of Midsummer, I created a new Tarot spread that incorporates multiple decks (I used an oracle deck for the additional cards). Two decks are NOT required- you can still do this spread with a single deck if you like! 1.) The Sun What is hovering over your life right now, the main driving force behind your question.
2.) The Seedling Basically you right now: how you’re feeling and dealing with the current situation
3.) The baked soil Your obstacle. What is needed to overcome in order to move forward and get moving.
4.) The Sprout Your goal: the direction things will go if you can overcome your obstacle.
5/6.) The Water It’s optional on whether to do one or two cards here; I like two. Regardless, they’re what you need to think about or the assistance needed to overcome your obstacle. This is meant to be from a separate deck (Tarot or Oracle) as it’s meant to be an entirely “new” influence, so all the cards are basically back on the table. However, you can use the same deck if you aren’t able to use a second.
