I looked over my photos from the trip up to #gaustatoppen, and I found this. I love this, cause who thought "oh let's balance this flat stone on this other raised rock"? But it's so wonderful. This was made of multiple people, most likely strangers. Cause it didn't have the top stones when we walked up, but it did on the way down. And this is such a strange tradition. When you walk up, you put a rock on one of the piles. It's almost like an interactive art instalation. One where everyone is the artist, and the mountain is our canvas. I also like this particular instalation, cause the next time the wind blows a bit harder than a light breeze, this will fall down. But people still took the time to balance this. Dunno how else to describe it, other than this is such a sweet thing to do. "let's pile these rocks together, so others can see there has been humans here" #art #balancedrocks #rockart
