Indulge in the rich and aromatic coffee experience inspired by Two Hands NYC. This coffee combines the bold flavors of freshly ground coffee beans with the creamy sweetness of condensed milk, creating a delightful balance of flavors.
Ingredients: 1 cup of freshly ground coffee beans. 4 cups of filtered water. 1-2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk adjust to taste. Ice cubes optional. Cinnamon powder optional, for garnish.
Instructions: Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, similar to sea salt. Boil the filtered water and let it cool for a minute or two to around 200F 93C. Place a coffee filter in a drip cone or pour-over device and set it over a coffee pot or large heatproof container. Add the freshly ground coffee to the filter. Slowly pour a small amount of hot water just enough to wet the coffee grounds over the coffee, allowing it to bloom for 30 seconds. Gradually pour the remaining hot water in a circular motion over the coffee grounds, making sure they are evenly saturated. Let it drip through the filter into the pot below. Once all the water has passed through the coffee grounds, remove the filter and discard the used coffee grounds. Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk to your desired level of sweetness. You can adjust the amount to taste. If you prefer iced coffee, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the coffee over the ice. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon powder on top for added flavor and aroma. Enjoy your delicious Two Hands NYC-style coffee!
