Headed off to Perth, Scotland this weekend to meet and take class with the legendary Lolita San Miguel, first generation Pilates teacher, former Joffrey dancer and a key founder in the Pilates Method Alliance. Lolita shared her story about apprenticing in the New York studio where it all started. Her mat class felt like a gem from the source; Pilates technique with a clear sense of purpose and rigor.
