FASHION CREDITS: LADY GAGA FOR ELLE US 2010

Elle goes Gaga. Our girl both graced the cover of the January issue and star in the editorial shot by Tom Munro, styled by Joe Zee, glammed up by Billy B and curled by Kevin Ryan.

This photoshoot is another proof of how chameleonic Gaga is. Every time different but always herself. You don’t find two editorials that are alike. Each of them is different and “tailor made” as a couture piece to fit the magazine like a glove.

For the first look, Gaga wore a padded silk-satin bodysuit from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring/Summer 2010 prêt-à-porter collection which he titled "The G Spot" to fully embrace the lingerie theme.

She spiced things further up with a pair of the Dungeon cognac-colored leather spiked lace-up platform ankle boots with lug sole Natacha Marro created for Charles Anastase’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection.

Here Gaga is looking stunning in head-to-toe Prada Spring/Summer 2010.

The dress is inspired by precious lamps and created out of plexiglass drops connected by a net of small metal rings. It is worn over a white stretch poplin top with mock neck and matching shorts.

The Postcard sunglasses are made of transparent acetate and feature a pink lens, also known as the “Manhattan” swatch, dedicated to Montauk. Gaga’s repping a more square-shaped version of these.

She’s also wearing a these lucite sandals with white satin-lined PVC straps, Velcro strap closure and open toes.

Mother Monster looks ravishing in a wearable sculpture from Viktor and Rolf‘s Spring/Summer 2010 RTW “Cutting Edge Couture” collection. This number is a black wool gabardine blazer dress with silver metallic thread-embroidered sleeves, black silk lapel blazer with wood pattern jacquard, white paillette-embroidered “undershirt” and a pastel lavender tulle organza shoulder sculpture morphing into a skirt.

The sky-high black suede platform wonders, she’s almost wearing throughout the shoot, are the Super Elevated Ghillie from Vivienne Westwood’s Fall/Winter 1993 collection.

Next, Gagaloo poses in high-waisted silk trousers and wide-brimmed cut-out chapeau with built-in visor both from Chalayan’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection titled  “Dolce Far Niente”.

The woven sun hats were created by Noel Stewart for the collection.

In this one she rocks this unbelievable leather jacket made of sandals from Maison Margiela Spring/Summer 2006 artisanal collection (and God bless this man ideas and hands!). 

Is there anybody out there who wouldn’t looove to take this one (I mean the jacket, not Martin himself) home and wear it for ever and ever and ever more?

Her black lace and satin tie briefs are the Cendrillon by Agent Provocateur.

She also wore the Balenciaga 0071 oversized round glossy acetate sunglasses.

I love this soft look.

Gaga lets her natural beauty shine through in this ethereal Dior Spring/Summer 2010 black glitter lurex knit bustier mini dress.

This oh-so-fabulous skull ring belongs to Dior’s “Reines et Rois” Haute Joaillerie collection and is made of platinum, diamonds and chrysoprase.

And what about this cloud-like Karl Lagerfeld Spring/Summer 2010 plastic veil crop top? Beyond gorgeous!

Gaga wore it with black semi-sheer briefs from Frederick’s of Hollywood.

She’s also sporting the Alpina Goldwing shield sunglasses she got at Jack’s Eyewear store in LA.

To complete the look Gaga chose these Baldinini Fall/Winter 2009 gold metal gate shoes with sculptural heel and peep toe.

And finally, this green iridescent plastic show stopper German designer Jil Sander proposed for the Spring/Summer 2010 season she wore with matte Falke tights.
