But anyway, a lil preview on what Libby’s upcoming mod…an outfit? Yes. As seen on Gale 💜 The outfit Odilia’s wearing is something that I had been eyeing on and thats the newly publically released dressy by @/berrysemifreddo on Nexus 🥹 It looks so good on Odilia and pairs very nicely to what Gale is wearing 💙 I really love the VP on the first slide to much really and how the notes just play along really well (VFX effects courtesy of @scarstarion ‘s Pretty Particles mod) 🥹

Impromptu rainy VP shot cuz I suddenly thought of an angsty scenario for these two ⛈️

There’s a reason why they’re in their Act 3 gear in Odilia’s story, and that's because she did not want to lose Gale due to a certain bomb. Of course, he did not do it because Odilia would be very sad if he did so. He has forgotten his goddess for her, but sometimes the feeling to just do it can get the better of him / an easy way out to end it all but he didn’t, cuz its not how Odilia wants to see it end, and they have to fight the absolute to the very end…

Note: Sayang means “darling” in Malay and Odilia calls Gale that until she wedded him where she calls him 老公 / lǎogōng (Husband in Chinese) but Gale continues to call her Sayang even after they wedded

Also Odilia is mixed blood in which she is half Malatran / half SEAsian/ Peranakan Chinese 💙

XXVIII: The Gun in a Trembling Hand

Faces flashed in her mind’s eye; Cal, Lia, Lakrissa. A horde of pleading, teary eyed children and the weight of promises. The tadpole writhed, hungry and alert. Her muscles aching, she looked across the few feet of space between her and the guard and saw wispy, fledgling strands of light ginger across his upper lip. He wasn't clean shaven at all. Umbra’s sword trembled as she lowered it.

“Stand down.” The command was a whisper. Psychic energy surged – it burned like acid in her veins and sludge in her mind. Umbra tasted the acrid fear in the boy's mouth and felt the trembling ecstasy of the tadpole as it sighed, satiated. And deep inside something slipped away beyond any hope of repair. When she looked to Gale – because of course she'd look to Gale – he stood stock still, an expression of anguished revolusion staring back at her. She dropped her gaze as Lae'zel and Wyll shouted in confusion at the sudden lack of resistance. Three slack faced strangers, three victims of Ketheric Thorm’s twisted aspirations, were awaiting her next order. She took a deep breath. “Drop your weapons.”

They did.

“Unlock the cells. All of them.”
