Karlach struggled to hide the shake in her voice; the love of her life was dying; was this how Val felt when Karlach first said she'd never go back to Avernus? Not even for the sake of survival? Gods, it hurt. They were out of potions, everyone was worn out, and no one was capable of healing Valkara, who was bleeding out quickly, her breathing becoming more shallow. "You will be okay." Valkara felt Karlach's warm hand squeezing her own. "I will not let you go. Darling." Were the last words Val heard before she drifted off into unconciousness.

Ravena Soilia 🖤💀 - The last Ravenblood of Waterdeep

A new character sheet for Ravena, my DnD/BaldursGate3 necromancer Oc!

A summary of her story:

-Half a Ravenblood, still a Ravenblood-

- Born in Waterdeep, Faerûn, Ravena is the last of the Ravenbloods in the city, a family hunted for their dark magic and curses. There's a century old rivalry between them and her mother’s wizard family, the Soilias. The Ravenbloods disappeared out of Faerûn one day and with them, her father, leaving no trace. After her mother's sudden death, Ravena was raised by her controlling uncle Morgryn. She grew up isolated and her magic studies were controlled by him.

Only when she was sent to Blackstaff Academy she regained a bit of freedom. After being followed by a talking raven, her uncle put a protection spell on her and finally told her about her other part of the family. Driven by curiosity about her father and her Ravenblood roots, she secretly learned necromancy to unlock a magic book hidden in her mother's room. After many years of failed attempts, self-teaching, and learning from shady Necromancers in the city, she finally masters the spell uncovering a location which leads her to the cursed raven named Raku, who claims to have worked with her father. Cursed by his master Thanesios for failing his mission, he is stuck in this raven form. Together, they promise to help each other to uncover the truth about her family, and break Raku's curse. Their journey begins, unknown to the fact what really made the Ravenbloods disappear. -

I did not wanna use a font again so I wrote some stuff about her in my awful hand writing 💀 Yeah, she isn't the biggest fan of grand social events, but she can not say no if it means potentially getting useful information of other guests~ She might randomly appear behind people's back when she finds something interesting, accidentally scaring people 😩
