Mount Batur Bali Sunrise Trekking We were tipped by friends at home to do this trip. And indeed; it’s definitely an experience to never forget! The operator of the tour did a great job. After to be picked up perfectly on time (2.00 AM), we were able to catch some extra sleep in the bus. On arrival, we met our tour guide. He lived in the village next to the volcano, so he knew everything what we wanted know. The climb is quite steep, but you will forget all the required effort when you will see the sunrise. The view is stunning!! Don’t’ forget to bring you sweater/jacket, as it can be cold in the morning. During enjoying the sunset, our guide was so kind to serve our breakfast and to check if everything is OK. After the sunrise, our guide was so kind to offer us the option to go back or to do an additional walk around the top of the volcano. We decided to do the extra walk, which was worth it: You have a stunning view on every angle you watch.
