She giggled at his behavior. He was adorable, honestly. Endearing, too, if you didn’t mind his apparent lack of manners. But that’s what made Katashi Katashi, and Chihiro wouldn’t change it for the world.
“Oh, come on. Let me have a little fun in expense for offering you some. My mother made it, so the best thing to do is enjoy it with the people you care about.”
“Tch... I don’t see how that means you should feed me like this.. I-I’m not a child.” His lips remained pursed into a somewhat childish pout. Really it was all just a matter of his pride as a man and the fact that he was growing steadily more flustered as the woman offered him bites of the cake, but refused to let him take a fork himself.
Of course, there was no denying that the heat in his cheeks grew when she had said that she cared about him. Sure, they were friends or at least vaguely knew each other because of their parents, but he knew Chihiro’s other siblings better than he knew her, so it was a little...odd to be told she cared about him. It was certainly not unwelcome and was rather appreciated, but still a bit strange...
