CHECK THOSE RIMS WHEN YOUR WIPING THEM! I missed this on my initial inspection when I started preparing food but after putting soup in the jar and wiping the rims down .... I found it. Canning 20 pints of Split Pea and Ham Soup out of the @ballcanning book recipe ( X 4 batch!)! Only variation I did was I added our home canned "smoked pork chop bone stock" as 25% of the liquid.
