@thebig3 Playoff Highlights: #BallHogs vs #GhostBallers Ball Hogs captured the seventh seed by defeating Ghost Ballers for the second time this season. The Hogs didn’t beat any other team this year, but they outscored the Ballers 100-75 in their two meetings. All of the scoring came from three players: Andre Owens – who had a 4-pointer and three 3-pointers – and Josh Childress led the way with 19 each. Jermaine Taylor had 12. @thebig3 WEEK 6 Highlights: #3HeadedMonsters vs #BallHogs Despite a strong first-half effort from the Ball Hogs, it wasn’t enough to keep them from the brink of playoff elimination. The Ball Hogs led 26-20 at halftime, thanks in large part to Jermaine Taylor. Taylor opened the scoring with a 3-pointer and then hit his third 3-pointer of the night to send it to the half. That’s when 3-Headed Monsters co-captain Reggie Evans took over. Evans, who earned BIG3 Player of the Week honors twice in the first four weeks of the season, made a case for winning that honor for a third time. Led by eight points from Evans, the Monsters went on a 13-2 run to start the second half. When Evans laid in the game-winning shot, he had himself another double-double — his 24 points and 10 rebounds were both game highs. Qyntel Woods had 11 points and six rebounds for the 3-Headed Monsters and Jamario Moon followed up his stellar Week 5 performance with eight points and four rebounds. @thebig3 Week 1 Highlights #Power vs #BallHogs Power rolled to an impressive victory over the Ball Hogs. New additions Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis and Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen and a returning Corey Maggette gave Power a more dynamic attack than the 2017 team that finished third in the league. The game’s highlight came when Andersen made a thunderous block on an attempted Josh Childress tomahawk dunk. Following the block, the ball kicked out to Maggette who took advantage of the loose ball and finished with a jam. The win earned basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman the first win by a female coach for a top-flight men’s professional team. #Big3 #Big3Season2 #Basketball #THEAAVE
