Adopt Don't Shop: Sometimes people don't realize that full-breed dogs can be rescue dogs too. Often we see all these "exotic" breeds misunderstood on the streets, or beaches. We always hope that if someone goes the distance of getting a specific breed, that they've done they're research on how to care for their needs, but that is just not always the case & the consequences are sometimes overwhelming for both the dog & the owner. Compromising the needs of the little beasties sometimes to levels of neglect &/or abandonment. We encourage people to do you're homework with full-breeds. Be ready to take care of your furry friends, health, and this includes food specifications, climate tolerance, grooming, exercise, shelter, access to outdoors, medicine, if need be. Dogs are not trends, they are your friends ~ a long term relationship full of unconditional love. It is your job to deserve it & offer the same back. This is Oscar; a rescue dog from Mexico dog at @downtown_betty's #balsambeachstudio. He comes to work everyday with @livstewart his mom & helps out with photoshoots & fabric insoection, and also has been known to check for hall passes in the building.
