Balthazar - Cuddling
Balthazar:
Balthazar was not a fan of cuddling.
‘Was’ being the operative word within that particular statement.
Before coming to meet you, the blond angel had not had many meaningful relationships. He found monotony to be ‘unrealistic,’ and so, moving past the ‘random hookup’ stage was never exactly part of his itinerary.
Again, ‘was’ being the operative word.
Meeting you had been a breath of fresh air for Balthazar.
Finally he felt as though he could have a romantic connection with another being.
Finally he could find joy within a relationship.
Finally he had found someone who he wanted to be with in each and every way.
And that includes cuddling.
Falling on the bed beside you, Balthazar would pull your back to press against his hard chest.
“Are you going to steal all of the blankets again?” you questioned with a laugh, shivering at the feeling of the angel’s steamy breath against the back of your neck.
“Who? Me?” the angel responded sarcastically, gripping the sheets, before yanking them up and over your heads. “Never.”
Hiding his face within the crook of your neck, he allowed his lips to dance over the pressure point below your ear, his muscular arm looping tightly around your waist.
“You had better not.” you warned teasingly, goosebumps rising on your skin at the sensation of Balthazar’s fingers stroking your stomach. “Last I checked, you don’t need to sleep, thus, blankets aren’t all too necessary for you.”
“I wasn’t aware that you had a dangerous side, love.” he purred lowly, his nose nuzzling into your hair. “Really? You’re trying to threaten an angel?”
“Correction.” Reaching down, you intertwined Balthazar’s fingers with your own. “You aren’t just an angel...” you began, giving his hand a hearty squeeze. “...you’re my angel.”
“My angel.” the blue eyed man repeated, the words seeming to leave a pleasant taste on the tip of his tongue.
“I do believe that I might be able to get used to hearing that.”
