the immigrant workers on the Baltimore bridge had no access to emergency warnings. zero. while i'm glad more people didn't die and i'm glad the warnings that went out - went out... that doesn't change the fact that with ZERO warning they had almost NO chance. and there was some time, like it's possible they might have survived. not much time, but with events like this, there are multiple factors that lead to death.

those workers aren't second class humans, even if their company and the cops and our society treats them like they are.

the missing six are originally from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. they had all been in this country for many years. they are members of our communities. i don't bring up their country of origin to be dismissive of them, it's just a fact. my heart aches for their families.
