Bonus post (there will be another post in a few moments).  Can’t wait on this one.  Bam!Bam! will be performing at the Bandcamp store in Oakland on Friday, September 13th at 6 p.m.  The Bandcamp space is so cool, and Bam!Bam!’s sound will only add to the coolness.

This Oakland band has a definite riot grrrl sound - they sound like they could have been in the lineup for the International Pop Underground Festival in Olympia.  In fact, they have opened for Calvin Johnson.  I also feel like there is a more melodic side which recalls Grass Widow, Look Blue Go Purple, or Electrelane.
