Rider and yellow-green team headcanons
Now, headcanons for rider and his team:
-milkshakes on friday. Always. It’s mandatory. Team bonding.
-stealth: giggly around who he likes
- Rider has a lot of trouble admitting things. He in pain? Yeah. Will he tell you that? No. You’ll have to force it outta him somehow
-bamboo has collections of small things. Like little rocks and small glass figures
-blaze likes anime music. Actually, a lotta musics
-Physical Strength gauge of team from strongest to weakest: Rider, Bamboo, Stealth, Blaze.
-how to tell if bamboo likes you: she invades your personal space very quietly and you might not notice her unless you turn around and get spooked
-blaze likes to feel popular. Technically she is with rider on her team but she doesn’t always feel that way
-Rider’s home life is rough. It’s half the reason for his “all i need is myself and nobody else” mentality. He has a part time father figure that’s pretty terrible. Friends are there for him always but again he hates admitting stuff so he won’t tell them the worst of it.
-how to tell if blaze likes you: excited and bouncy around you and really wanting to be helpful
-rider’s team at some point def does wonder why rider doesn’t stop goggles from pantsing him, when it’s obvious he will and hits after it’s done. Is it for the excuse? Is it routine? *whispers softly* does he like it?
-rider values his friendship with goggles in all honesty. Ship it or not, he genuinely likes goggles at least.
-Rider, since he reveals the fact he studies a rival’s weaponry to learn how it works and how to handle it himself, has used a splattershot like goggles’ before. Try as he may, having the same weaponry does not give you the astonishing unpredictability of goggles. Boy does he wish it did.
-Rider and crushes: him trying to get close but also not wanting to reveal a lot about himself because oh god what if something about him makes you hate rider. Sweet but kinda aggressively so. Take the stupid flowers. TAKE THEM.
-rider owns a white inky rider as well. It’s kinda old and holds bad memories as well as sentimental ones too, making it so he just kinda can’t give it up. It’s somewhat of a comfort piece of clothing too, but not something he’d readily show others. You’d have to be helping him clean a closet out or something to find it or have an excuse to ask about the thing.
-stealth is the best at hide and seek.
-bamboo is a good listener. Go ahead, talk about your day. All goes into memory. Your sins will be useful later if you upset her or hurt a friend.
-best at finding memes: blaze. Best at making memes: stealth. Best at being behind the times in memes: bamboo. Best at being the base of stealth’s memes: Rider
-Rider: *quietly tugs a close friend into his hiding spot if he’s upset and being looked for by them*
-rider likes marie the best but the rest of his team are callie fans
-he thinks a lot about octarian society and wonders a lot about it being dystopian. He’s practically probably right. He’d help some if they weren’t TRYING TO KILL HIM.
-rider appreciates sandwiches after a long work day. He sometimes forgets to feed himself. He loves sandwiches tho make him any kind and he’ll be satisfied. Yes goggles even pb&j&fluff&honey. Just fucking give a slice. Its so sweet it hurts but he’s happy.
-rider likes to look at the skies. He feels somewhat bad for the octos in respects of never seeing the real deal, or rather never pausing to see it. Their skies are just tv monitors on an underground surface, with this big glowing thing to act like a sun.
-rider hate thunderstorm. Too loud. Nuh.
