Amelia stared outside the T.A.R.D.I.S. doors, amazed by the 1950's being on the other side. She'd requested the Doctor take her there when he offered her one adventure, the blonde curious about the period she was so fascinated by - and if she was being honest, the idea of going too far back scared her even if she was sure it was all a trick. Glancing down at her jeans and T-shirt, she quickly shut the door again and turned towards him. "That's the 1950's," she told him blankly, her hand still pointing towards the door. "That's the 1950's and I wasn't even born yet and now I'm here. And I'm dressed like this!" She waved down to her outfit, looking at the Doctor with hopeful eyes. "You wouldn't happen to have women's clothes somewhere on here, would you?"

I told you I'd keep you safe // Bamelia

As they walked Brick had noticed that his hand was still in Amelias, he didn't know whether to let go or not. He was scared of how he felt about her, the last time he felt this way was when he'd first started dating Bethany. He knew he wasn't dating Amelia and he knew they were just friends, in fact that's all they'd ever be. She wouldn't love him, he could never be loved. "did you have a good time?" he asked her, hoping that even though the house was scary for her that she still had a good time with him and he hoped that she felt safe. 

"I told you I'd keep you safe, I wouldn't ever let anything happen to you." he smiled. He looked up at the night sky, the stars were bright tonight. They reminded him of Amelia, she was beautiful, just like the stars. Her big brown eyes were what attracted him at first, they mesmerized him and he loved looking at them. Amelias eyes were the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen and it was always the eyes that attracted Brick the most. 

"You're amazing, you're not a nerd or a geek, you're not normal but you're not weird, you're amazing and perfect and kind. Any guy would be lucky to have a girl like you in their life" he turned her around and smiled as her eyes met his "you don't realize how beautiful you really are, you're beautiful inside and out" he had no idea where all of this had come from but he felt like it was the right thing to say, despite the fact that him feeling all of this scared the living daylights out of him.
