was kirari ever shown to be a dick to her family for them to hate her so?

As shown in the manga on multiple occasions, yes, the dislike of the Family for Kirari is justified.

The main reason why, I’d say, is shown to us at the end of the gamble against Yumeko in the Double-Headed lotus building. Terano and Kirari talk and it becomes clear that Kirari thinks Terano a fool because of her sense of duty towards the Family. She doesn’t have the kind of chains Kirari has as Head of the Clan, why doesn’t she just do whatever she wants?

Terano doesn’t understand what it means. She wants to keep looking after the Family, because (allegedly) she doesn’t see how flawed the system is, contrarywise to Kirari who became who she is only because she literally threw a die and has all the reasons to wish for the Clan’s demise.

Terano also dislikes her (and Ririka, I’d say) because of what happens in ch.76. She rightfully finds off-putting the fact that they offer her the role of Head for funsies if she wins the “which one is me” game.

Then we have Rin, who was humiliated as a child during a game of cards in front of the rest of the Bami children, but that’s more on him than on Kirari, as he was the one who tried to cheat.
