If I could
I’d hand to you
A hundred hundred leaved Roses
And infuse my heart into
the petals of pink or red
To show sincerity
In my love
To the one who’s image
always dances through my head
If I could
I’d send to you
When you were away
A flower crown of Pansy’s
In yellows, purples and maroons
They’d be a message
without a note
Of just what my heart
needs to say
And that I hope to see you soon
If I could
I’d paint for you
Gentian, Geranium
In blue’s and burgundy's
A bouquet
of what I hope to show,
of Gratitude, Sincerity
If I could
I’d give to you
When you felt
anxious, scared, alone
Carnations, Rhododendron,
in perfect pink
And fold your fingers
around their stems
To try and share
Hope and Strength
If I could
I build for you
A garden of colors
and wordless poems
To wish for you
cornflowers for riches
And contentment in the yellow rose
I’d plant along the fences
Jasmine for it’s scent
And to show you
My faith in your strength
I’d scatter though the pots and fields
Daisy’s, because it’s true
If I could
My dear, I’d build a
Greenhouse,
So all throughout the year
I could send you poetry
to show my love for you
