Baking has been one of my go to’s for as long as I can remember. I get in my zone and all my worries disappear. Sooo...since today is national baking day, my husband kept bugging me for some banana/cream cheese/nut bread. And..that’s what he got! #baking #bread #banananut #nationalbakingday #spoiledhusband #heasksandheshallreceive #wifey #wifeduties #wifeymaterial
Banana Nut Frozen Dessert - Wink Copycat Recipe - No Machine Required - Make multiple flavors!
Make these delicious banana nut waffles to surprise your sweetheart with a delightful breakfast. The combination of ripe bananas and crunchy walnuts creates a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 2 ripe bananas, mashed. 2 large eggs. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Cooking spray or extra butter for waffle iron.
Instructions: Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl. Beat the eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter together in a different bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Make sure not to mix it too much; a few lumps are fine. Add the chopped walnuts and mix well. Warm up your waffle iron and use cooking spray or extra butter to lightly coat it. Pour the right amount of batter onto the waffle iron that has been heated up, and cook it according to the directions on the box until it is golden brown and crispy. You can top the hot banana nut waffles with maple syrup, whipped cream, or more chopped nuts, or anything else you like. Enjoy the banana nut waffles you made yourself!
