The biggest freaking culture shock for me entering into ice-hockey was how easily they trade off their players like on a random ass Tuesday sharks traded Eklund where as in football(soccer) there is a whole 2 month build up before anyone let alone one of the most loved players is even thought of being traded.😭😭

it took flame a little while to open up to weky, i think. she'd come up and sniff at his hand if he stretched it out to her, but she would pretty quickly run away and maybe even hiss. she'd find a vantage point where she could just glare, orange fur all puffed up. it doesn't bother weky all that much but collin is almost overly apologetic about it.

hat trick, on the other hand, LOVES him. the first time weky ever came over and sat on the couch this little black-furred, yellow-eyed thing just sort of appeared on his lap in a puff of smoke and fur. purring, rolling around, bumping her head against his stomach and hand when he goes to pet her. collin is just sitting on the other end of the couch kind of shocked, because he's never heard her purr this loud, she's never opened up this quickly to someone else.

flame does eventually come to like him, and then every time weky is over, collin is completely ignored by his two girls, and they're only ever sitting with weky. hat trick is on his lap whereas flame is snuggled up right next to him.

collin is always 'complaining' that they like weky more than they like him

also yes i see flame as this big fluffy orange tabby, huge ruff of fur around her chest and a tail akin to a bottlebrush. green eyes, probably, rare female ginger cat. hat trick is a sleek black-furred girl with huge yellow eyes, which kind of make her look like an owl. collin's got halloween cats!
