Giants comforting tinies is so sweet but god I'll live and die for the mental image of a tiny Sumire comforting Ren (Especially after seeing how much it hurts him when he inevitably and of course unintentionally scares her - [the look of genuine fear in her eye tends to keep him awake at night] For the sake of his happiness she works through her initial fears and hesitations when being carried or picked up) Also hey thoughts on the royal trio but with g/t mixed in?

YESSSS SHUSUMI/ROYAL TRIO,,,,oough also imagining her shrinking. like, during third semester? --or even after maruki, when, ren's still processing or back home or even in solitary confinement. and for sumi, it's like. kasumi was strong. so she has to be. even if she finds herself at a fraction of her height and suddenly helpless, at the world's mercy. but the person she finds herself in the care of is her crush, so maybe it isn't too bad. he's kind of going through it, too. and even though she's supposed to be strong, she has to admit that she is not kasumi. she really isn't all that brave. especially when she's still processing the events of third semster herself, and being shrunk, and she can't help but duck like a field mouse hiding from a hawk whenever ren's hand reaches for her. it's a lot.

but, while she can't do much at this size, the one thing she can do is reassure ren that it's okay. even if she's struggling--they both are. they'll get through this. together.

i luv royal trio...i think sumi would probably be legitimately terrified by akechi if she somehow wound up small, and even if he gave it his best effort, he is Not soothing those fears lol. i've had this au in my head for awhile that's not really fleshed out. sumire's a princess trapped in a tower for "her own safety", akechi's a foreign prince that's sent to rescue her. of course, he runs into ren, the giant knight who was tasked to guard sumire. it's not really accurate role-wise but i like exclusively think about this au before i'm about to go to sleep LOL. i think they'd all get to know each other and maybe even run away, escape their roles and live in the dense, giant forest. just the three of them. yeagh
